Daddy Daughter Dance

It is so interesting that Grace has been so into Elvis lately, making a Mii on the Wii and then he shows up at the DDD! The girls hung out at the stage like groupies and he was great! I got a babysitter and volunteered so I could be a part of it. Next year, Julia could go, but Kurt will be deployed. Grace also won the raffle of the centerpiece and it happened to be the Grease table, it was so cool. She doesn't understand why she can't watch her new movies (1 and 2) yet, I said she needs to wait until she is 13 am I being harsh? On saturday we went to the ice show put on by our rink called Reflections on Ice, it was fabulous. Grace so wanted to be out there on the ice, hopefully next year. The guy they had asked to come and be the star is known for his back flips on the ice, and he was at the Olympics with Scott Hamilton. There was this amazing pairs skating and they were 14 and 12, they totally looked professsional. Today I was nominated to be the Deacon at our church, such an exciting weekend! More sooner I promise!
